17G on multiple rackets (16×19 and 18×20): another excellent selection from the Signum Pro line that does exactly what it’s advertised to do. A plush, poppy string with great control, consistent feedback, and excellent tension maintenance. I use this exclusively as a cross with shaped poly mains of all different brands, yet this string lifts the mains up to another performance level every time. Richard recommended this string and I put it in right away, didn’t even allow the usual 24H to adjust and level out. Off the stringer, targeted 62 and got 61, which is so good for poly to be that accurate. The first hour hitting, so crispy. The energy deflection and shot control were noticeably great. After that, it feels a tiny bit softer, but maintains that wonderful pop off the string bed with every shot. String movement was great as a round cross poly, feel was great, but tension maintenance after 6-8 hours of hitting was terrifyingly superb. The company markets this string for durability and tension maintenance, it does not lie. I only dropped about 3-4 pounds after multiple sessions to a much-accepted 58lbs. This will be my cross string moving forward.
