17L gauge on Head Tour Pro 2.0: crisp and light, this string does work on the court. I have tried this on 16×19 and 18×20 patterns, but always end up satisfied with the results. It’s stiff/crispy, poppy feel, good control as well. And that brings me now to spin. My semi-western, mainly flat forehand is my weakest shot. I strung this in the setup as listed above and was punching, for once in my tennis life, above my rating (4.0-4.5) and executing groundstrokes, almost puzzling in a way since I have never seen action on my shots like that. Depth was never a problem, but now, it’s just right every time. Mid to deep in distance and a noticeable jump forward once it brushed off the bounce. I’m torn on all these strings being so great, and once again, Richard sold me a quality product with excellent service! Need spin and control? Good tension maintenance? Lightweight and crisp feel? Yellow Jacket is it.
